How to install an eSIM on iPhone and Android

Installation takes 2–3 minutes. You'll need Wi-Fi and the QR code from the e-mail or your account.

iPhone / iPad

1Open the e-mail with the eSIM on your iPhone and tap “Install on iPhone in one tap” (iOS 17.4 and newer) — or go to step 2.
2Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code and scan the code from another screen.
3Tap Continue and wait for activation (up to 1 minute). Name the plan, e.g. “Simix Turkey”.
4Under Cellular Data select the Simix eSIM; keep your main SIM for calls and SMS.
5Enable Data Roaming only for the Simix eSIM. Turn off mobile data on your main SIM to avoid operator roaming.

🤖 Android

1Open Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → SIM cards → Add eSIM.
2Choose Scan QR code and point the camera at the code from the e-mail or your account. No second screen? Choose Enter manually and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code.
3Confirm the profile download and enable the eSIM.
4In SIM settings select the Simix eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming for it.
5Keep your main SIM for calls and turn off its mobile data.

On arrival

Turn off airplane mode — the phone finds a local operator on its own. Network registration takes up to a minute. If there is no network, open the eSIM settings and pick an operator manually.

Installation FAQ

When should I install the eSIM — before or after the flight?

Before the flight, at home over Wi-Fi. Validity starts only at the first network connection in the destination.

Can I delete the eSIM and install it again?

No. An eSIM profile is single-use: once deleted it cannot be installed again. Don't delete the eSIM until the trip is over.

The phone can't see a network after installation

Check that Data Roaming is enabled for the Simix eSIM and it is selected for mobile data. Toggle airplane mode or pick an operator manually.
